This section of my
site is dedicated to everything else I do besides training gymnastics.
Some things may or may not be related to gymnastics. Have
fun browsing!
web site design Since I arrived in the U.S. I started learning
more about computers. My previous knowledge didn't reach beyond knowing
how to send an email from a web-based email account. I started learning
from books, online tutorials and forums. In 2004
I designed my first web site - the old sekerova.com. In 2005, I started
working as a freelance web designer for eThreeMedia,
Savannah-based company. This
year (2007)
I am proud to present the new sekerova.com!

my own leotards for training and competition. In 2003 I was finally
able to. I designed my own leotards, one for training and one for
competition. I competed in it at the 2003 YMCA Nationals in Savannah,
GA (see picture below). Since,I have about half-a-dozen of other designs.

Gymnastics Dance choreography For quite a few years now, I have been choreographing
my own beam routine dance and I choreographed last two of my floor
ex. routines. Over the years, I have choreographed bunch of routines
for other gymnasts. Here are some samples from my work in 2006.
modeling/acting As a gymnastic performer I have been quite
a lot in front of a camera but in 2004 I decided to try a little different
role, modeling. I really enjoyed the modeling shoots so by now
I have been at a handfull of modeling shoots. Visit
my modeling photo gallery here .
My acting experience is so far limited to acting in Savannah College
of Art and Design student movies. I am looking forward to more opportunities.
dance It is my big hobby to dance. I dance any chance
I get. So anytime I would get asked to
help out with choreography of a dance performance I would be very excited.

coaching/clinics Clinics:
Coach Wayne hosts his clinics at the Islands YMCA on the weekends.
He uses me as a demonstrator of proper technique for tumbling. For
more details and dates visit coachwayne.com/camps.html or
coachwayne.com/webstore.
Regular classes:
Islands YMCA lost coaches in the early spring and asked Coach
Wane and I to help them out until they find new ones. I ended up coaching
all the way through the summer 2006. This wasn't my first time coaching
but this time I really fell in love with coaching and plan to coach
sometime in the future on regular basis.

my cat I have a cat named Spooky. Actually, her full
name is Spooky Parrot Flower Lion. I know; little excessive but here
is the story behind the name. We picked this cutest 6-week old kitty
from an animal shelter in October of 2003. That's when we named her
Spooky. Only few days later we have discovered her tendency to climb
on our shoulder
and just comfortably rest there. That's when we gave her second name,
Parrot. Since she came out of the shelter no wonder she had fleas.
I was advised to washer her in fabric softener since she was too young
to take any flea medicine. Well, after that she smelled like a flower
for days. So it stuck. And naturally, her attitude started showing
when as she started growing up and that's where she got her last name
- Lion. I had tendency to give her few more names but we decided that
four names was about all she will ever need.
